As you know, I have loved performing in Singapore over the years and watching the comedy scene grow. And now, like any grown up comedy town, Singapore is having its first comedy festival and I am thrilled to be part of it.
Encompassing 8 shows over 4 days, the Singapore Comedy Fringe 2014 is a great showcase of rising and established comedians from near and far. You’ll get to see comics from Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, Vietnam and, of course, the United States.
I am ecstatic to be working with my buddy and fellow American, the hilarious Butch Bradley! Catch us in the first night’s late show, “Preemptive Strike.” It’s an all-American show and all-hilarious. Probably all-biodegradable as well. It happens Wednesday, April 23 at 9:30 PM at the DBS Arts Centre, at 20 Merbau Road.
It is a whole festival of talented comics I’m lucky to call my friends: Malaysia’s Harith Iskander, India’s Papa CJ, Singapore’s Jonathan Atherton and so many more. My point is, you can’t go wrong with seeing any of these shows! (But you should definitely come see mine.)
